Cool Down - Slow March
After exercises of moderate level during which your heart rate was raised to target heart rate zone, you now need to slow down the activity and gradually cool down to bring the body and heart rate back to its normal state. After having done the thigh, hips and waistline, torso, waistline, etc. exercises on our website, this will feel very soothing and gently slow down the heart.
- (a) Lift your Left and Right leg alternately, not too high; just say 10 inches above the ground.
- (b) Move the Left and Right hands, bent at elbow, with the legs. The hands will just move gently to the center of the chest and then to the side with the elbow bent.
- (c) What is described above is the basic march. Just do the
basic march, nice and easy and slow and gradual, standing at a spot for about 2 min.
- (d) Very slow, slower than before, do 2 more minutes of relaxing spot marching.
