Cross Hand Circles - Warm-up Ideas



WARM UP: Cross Hand Circles



  • (a) Stand comfortably with feet at a comfortable distance apart.

  • (b) Without bending your arms, make a fist and cross your hands in front of you such that Right fist is pointing towards Left foot and Left fist is pointing towards Right foot.

  • (c) Raise your hands in the crossed position all the way till they are now above your head.

  • (d) At this point, move them out Left towards Left and Right



    towards Right and bring them down making part of a circle with each hand.

  • (e) They will be again crossed when down. Let the Left and Right hand alternate to be on the top when crossed.

  • (f) Repeat the above sequence (a) – (e) 16 times.
