Eye Exercise (Contd.)



Eye Exercise 5 - Sunning


This is called "Sunning". When you are outdoors or even indoors and there is sunlight, try to take an opportunity to soak in that warmth of the sun rays into your eyes. Remember to never look at the sun with naked eyes directly. If you are wearing sunglasses, remove them and then do the steps described below. Also, it is very beneficial to do "Palming" immediately after "Sunning".

  • (a) Lying down comfortably is the best position for this exercise. It can however be done in standing or sitting position.


  • (b) Close your eyes gently.


  • (c) With your eyes closed, relax your head so that you are

    looking in the direction of the sun.


  • (d) Try to not think about anything and just looking at the sun in the above position for 5 min.


  • (e) Proceed to do Palming now.
