Other Important Tips for Healthy Eyes
- Blink enough when watching TV, reading, working on the computer, etc. Especially children get so engrossed while watching their favorite program on TV that they do not blink enough. Remind them till they develop a habit of frequent blinking while watching television.
- When you are reading something, try to just lift your eyes and look at some distant object every now and then. Or at least make it a habit to lift your eyes and look at a distant object at the end of every page.
- When watching TV or working on the computer, don't stay glued in position like a statue. Take your eyes off the screen frequently. Also, move your neck every now and then. This
will prevent stiff neck and you will feel less exhausted.
- Do eye exercises and neck exercises frequently.
- While sowing, knitting, etc. make sure to lift your eyes and move your neck at the end of every few sows or knits.
- Any time you feel strain in your eyes or hurting eyes, you can do Eye exercises 1 – 4 and it will most definitely remove the strain and relax the eyes.
