Shoulder Torso Toner Exercise 3
Here is how to tone Your Shoulders and Posture
- (a) Stand with feet slightly apart and the heels slightly pointing towards each other while the toes point out away from each other.
- (b) Take your palms behind you such that the four fingers are pointing towards each other lightly touching and resting on the upper part of the hip and the thumbs are resting pointing towards the sides.
- (c) Your elbows will be bent and pointing to your sides.
- (d) While keeping the fingers rested as above, try to stretch
your chest, shoulders and arms as if to aim for the elbows to touch each other. This is to give you an idea of what parts we are trying to stretch out; I do not believe you will be able to touch the elbows.
- (e) While in the posture in step (d), with the hands and the fingers in the same position, flex at the waist such that you form a reverse "C" shape at the back and another reverse "C" shape with the stomach part protruding out at the front.
- (f) Stay in this posture for as long as you can.
- (g) Get back to position in step (c) and repeat the sequence of steps (d) - (f) 20 times.
