Why is it important to get organized? Let me explain. Remember the hopeless feelings like, "Oh! I wish I had put it at the right place", "Mom, I am getting late for school" and mom is rummaging through the stack of papers to find that medical record that needed to be sent to school. Have you felt the frustration it causes when we are looking for that bill we have to pay but we cannot seem to find it!? You don't have to feel like you are failing. You are not a failure; it's just lack of organizational skills.
It is inevitable to be organized if you want to succeed. For a minute, let us look at the example of bill again. While it would have taken only a couple of minutes to file it in a "To do" folder, it can take several minutes trying to locate it if there is no fixed place. If placed in an allocated spot the first time, not only would
you have saved time but also you would have avoided going through some disturbing emotions. Sometimes, the reason is as simple as we don't have a certain fixed place for the different type of stuff.
